Leaked Xbox Game Pass branding suggests family plan can be shared with friends too
Xbox has recently been trialling letting subscribers share Game Pass with family members, but a recent leak suggests you’ll be able to do it with friends too.
Earlier this month, Microsoft started testing a family plan of Game Pass in Colombia and Ireland, which lets you share Game Pass benefits with your family. However, as reported by The Verge, some branding for the scheme has leaked which suggests that the plan won’t just be limited to family members, but to friends too.
As shared by leaker Aggiornamenti Lumia, shared the branding, quite simply called “Friends & Family,” which strongly suggests the branding will be more broad than just family members whenever it does launch. It would make things easier, as registering your friends as family members could possibly cause problems somewhere down the line.

Twitter shopping features could lead to ‘individual or societal harm,’ according to leaked memo
Shopping features on Twitter pose content moderation risks and could be used “in a way that leads to individual or societal harm,” according to an internal memo sent to a team of Twitter employees.
The memo, a portion of which was obtained by The Verge, was sent in early July to a group of Twitter employees across various teams, according to a person with knowledge of it. In the email, some existing and not-yet-released features of Twitter shopping are categorized as high risk, with the email warning that content moderation hasn’t been prioritized in shopping.
First rolled out last summer, Twitter shopping allows brands to list items for sale and pin a handful of products at the top of a merchant’s profile. Unlike similar features on…
Footage Of Halo Infinite’s DMR-style M392 Bandit Rifle Has Been Leaked
A leak unearthed earlier this year suggested the franchise fan-favorite DMR would be coming to Halo Infinite under a different name, and now videos have emerged showing the M392 Bandit rifle in action. The Bandit shown in newly leaked videos is a semi-automatic, mid-range rifle that’s lacking a scope, as picked up by Windows Central.
The initial Bandit leak was posted by YouTuber Stanlyhalo, who managed to get their hands on the unreleased weapon by loading into a glitched Forge session. The user has since uploaded a couple of videos showing off the new weapon’s capabilities.
Another video posted to Twitter by Delta Index tests the weapon’s time to kill, showing it blast through an enemy’s shield’s with four shots, then requiring a single headshot or three body shots to make the kill.
What are the leaked photos of Kobe Bryant at the helicopter crash site?
VANESSA Bryant, the wife of the late Kobe Bryant and mom to Gianna, pressed charges against police who reportedly leaked photos following the horrific plane crash that killed her husband and daughter.
Kobe and Gianna Bryant died in January 2020 when their plane crashed in the hills overlooking Calabasas in California.
What are the leaked photos of Kobe Bryant at the helicopter crash site?
Vanessa Bryant testified against Los Angeles County on October 23, 2021, in a deposition hearing following a lawsuit she filed.
According to her testimony, she kept the clothes that Kobe and his daughter were wearing at the time of the crash.
She was allegedly also asked about the leaked photos of her husband that were posted to social media.
The 41-year-old NBA legend and his daughter were on their way to the Mamba Academy for basketball practice when their private helicopter went down at 1pm ET.

Kobe’s Sikorsky-76 chopper came down in fog in the Calabasas mountains northwest of Los Angeles.
Vanessa Bryant, his wife of 20 years, was reportedly horrified when California cops were accused of allegedly showing off horrific photos of the tragedy, which killed nine people.
Vanessa’s attorney, Craig Lavoie, described the allegations that police shared the photos of victims’ remains as “an unspeakable violation of human decency, respect, and of the privacy rights of the victims and their families.”
Lavoie called for those who shared the photos to “face the harshest possible discipline, and that their identities be brought to light, to ensure that the photos are not further disseminated.”

Who released the photos?
A young Californian police officer allegedly leaked photos of Kobe Bryant’s body to a woman at a local bar, and Vanessa’s lawsuit claimed that within 48 hours of the crash, photos had spread to at least 10 members of the department.
One deputy allegedly took between 25 and 100 photos of the crash scene on his cell phone, according to the lawsuit.
The lawsuit also included allegations that Police Officer Joey Cruz showed crash photographs to a bartender at the Baja California Bar and Grill in Norwalk, California.
One of the customers described his alleged actions as “very, very disturbing” and allegedly made “a crude remark about the state of the victims’ remains.”
The lawsuit claims that on the day of the crash Deputy Rafael Mejia, who was assigned to the crash site, was sent 15 to 20 photos from another deputy.
He then allegedly walked over to chat with a female deputy who wasn’t involved in the investigation – and for no reason other than “morbid gossip,” sent them to her cellphone.
Mejia testified that he sent about ten photos to Cruz and expressed regret when he said: “Curiosity got the best of us.”
Another officer, deputy Michael Russell, allegedly sent photos to a friend with whom he “plays video games nightly.”
Cruz testified in court, saying he made a “misjudgment” when he decided to share the photos.
Were the photos deleted?
Sheriff Alex Villanueva admitted he ordered officers to delete the images to stop them from spreading further.
He was accused of covering up the error when the Los Angeles Times reported the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department tried to keep a lid on the scandal for five weeks.
He told NBC4 he asked officers to delete them to stop them from reaching the public domain.
Villanueva said: “We identified the deputies involved, they came to the station on their own and had admitted they had taken them and they had deleted them.
“And, we’re content that those involved did that.”
He added: “Had we done the original, usual routine, which was relieve everybody of duty and everybody lawyers up and all that, that would increase the odds ten-fold that those photos would have somehow made their way into the public domain.
“And that’s definitely what we do not want.”
Patti Giggans, chair of the Sheriff Civilian Oversight Commission, said the destruction of photos “looks like a cover-up of misconduct.”
What lawsuits has Vanessa Bryant filed over the crash?
The late NBA star’s wife sued Island Express in February 2020, blaming the company for the helicopter crash that killed her husband and daughter a month earlier.
The suit alleged that the weather conditions and fog in the area on the day of the crash were not safe for flying and that pilot, Ara George Zobayan, failed to properly assess the conditions before takeoff.
Bryant also has another ongoing suit against the LA County Sheriff’s Department over photos deputies snapped and shared of the horrific crash site.
The basketball star’s widow, 39, has alleged members of the LASD shared multiple gruesome and unauthorized images of the crash scene.
She has posted photos of court documents that included the names of the deputies charged.
On October 16 TMZ reported that Vanessa Bryant might be asked by Los Angeles County to undergo a psychiatric exam to prove her distress over the leaked photos.
TMZ reported that county attorneys may want her to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to prove that the emotional anguish and distress she claims in her lawsuit is in relation to the leaked photos and not the deaths of her loved ones.
According to court documents obtained by USA TODAY, the County’s filings allegedly say, “Despite putting their mental condition front and center in this case, Plaintiffs refuse to submit to independent medical examinations (IMEs).”
“The County brings this motion to compel IMEs of the Plaintiffs, which are necessary to evaluate the existence, extent and nature of Plaintiffs’ alleged emotional injuries. Plaintiffs cannot claim that they are suffering from ongoing depression, anxiety and severe emotional distress and then balk at having to support their claims.”
According to TMZ, Vannesa Bryant’s legal team responded to the filing stating that it was nothing more than a “scorched earth” approach.
What was the verdict?
The jury came to a decision on August 24, 2022, after just over three hours of deliberation.
They ruled that the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s and Fire Departments were liable for infringing on the constitutional rights of Vanessa Bryant and the co-plaintiff, Christopher Chester who also lost his wife and daughter in the plane crash.
In his closing remarks, Lavoie showed the jury a flow chart of where the photos were sent and question marks over those whose phones had not been searched for the photos.
“If I asked all nine of you to give a percentage chance these photos would end up online, I’d get nine different answers,” Lavoie said. “But none of them would be zero. And when it’s your husband, your child, you don’t get the luxury of cold percentages.”
Chester’s attorney, Jerry Jackson concluded: “Ladies and gentlemen, you can’t award too much for what they’ve been through.”
The federal jury ultimately awarded both plaintiffs a total of $31million in damages to be paid out by the sheriffs and fire department.
Vanessa is to receive $16million and Chester will receive the remaining $15million awarded.
Leaked graphic pictures of Kobe Bryant and Gigi’s bodies ‘found on phones of EIGHT cops’ after helicopter crash
EIGHT officers from the LA County Sheriff’s Department took photos of the grisly crash site where Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna were killed, a lawsuit claims.
The deputies allegedly snapped photos of the dead children, their parents and coaches, according to the lawsuit filed last year by Vanessa Bryant in Los Angeles.

The photos reportedly show the bodies of the NBA legend, his daughter, and seven others who died in the crash[/caption]
Kobe‘s wife sued the LAPD sheriff after the graphic photos showed the remains of the NBA star and eight others who died in the helicopter crash in Calabasas, California.
“No fewer than 8 sheriff’s deputies at the crash site, pulled out their personal cell phones and snapped photos of the dead children, parents and coaches,” says the lawsuit, which TMZ obtained a copy of.
“The deputies took these photos for their own personal gratification.”
Los Angeles County has now hit back in new court documents asking Vanessa to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to determine whether or not she’s actually been as distressed as she’s claimed.
USA Today reports the filings read: “Despite putting their mental condition front and center in this case, Plaintiffs refuse to submit to independent medical examinations (IMEs).
“…The County brings this motion to compel IMEs of the Plaintiffs, which are necessary to evaluate the existence, extent and nature of Plaintiffs’ alleged emotional injuries.
“Plaintiffs cannot claim that they are suffering from ongoing depression, anxiety and severe emotional distress and then balk at having to support their claims.”

Vanessa’s attorneys slammed the request, calling out the county for trying to force the evaluations on all of the surviving family, including “four teenagers, a 10-year-old child, and a 5-year-old kindergartener.”
The lawyers added in their response filings: “The County has resorted to scorched-earth discovery tactics designed to bully Plaintiffs into abandoning their pursuit of accountability.”
Vanessa’s original lawsuit filing also alleges the crash photos were a topic of discussion within the sheriff’s department, as deputies allowed their colleagues to see the photos that had no investigative purpose.
A deputy showed off the crash site pics to a woman he was trying to impress at a bar, the lawsuit claims.
That’s when a bartender overheard the conversation and blew the whistle by reporting the information to the sheriff’s department.

LAPD Sheriff Alex Villanueva allegedly didn’t tell the victims’ families about the images, Vanessa claims in her filing[/caption]
In Vanessa’s lawsuit, she claims Sheriff Alex Villanueva attempted to cover up the misconduct by going to the department substation that responded to the crash and told deputies they’d get off scot-free if they deleted the photos.
Villanueva allegedly didn’t tell the victims’ families about the images – their loved ones only learned of the scandal in the media after the story broke, according to the lawsuit.
The suit claims the Sheriff never gave the family clear answers, and now Vanessa lives in constant fear that the devastating photos will leak to the public.

“Ms. Bryant feels ill at the thought of strangers gawking at images of her deceased husband and child, and she lives in fear that she or her children will one day confront horrific images of their loved ones online,” the documents said.
On August 24, 2022, a unanimous jury determined that Los Angeles County must pay Vanessa $16million over the photos.
The jury also awarded $15million to Vanessa’s co-plaintiff, Chris Chester, who lost his wife and daughter in the crash.
Vanessa shared Instagram photos of memorabilia pieces she collected during her late husband’s career last year amid the legal drama.
Included among the keepsakes are the NBA star’s high school jersey and warmups, which she said their family didn’t get back until 2013.
Among the other items are the Adidas sneakers Kobe wore during his championship run with the Los Angeles Lakers and the champagne-soaked locker room t-shirt he wore after winning the championship in 2001.
“I keep EVERYTHING for my baby and our girls,” she added.

Destiny 2 and Fortnite crossover leaked ahead of Bungie event
Bungie appears to be getting ready to add Fortnite skins to Destiny 2. After Fortnite leaker MidaRado teased a potential Destiny 2 collab over the weekend, Ginsor — a well-known Destiny dataminer — has confirmed the crossover with an image showing off several classic Fortnite skins in Destiny 2.
The image, which was likely obtained from Bungie’s own website, includes a Titan armor set that looks very much like the Black Knight skin that was originally obtainable from the season pass of Fortnite season 2. Destiny’s Warlock is also shown with a Fortnite-like Drift Mask, and the Hunter looks very much like Fortnite’s Omega skin.
It’s not clear how Destiny 2 players will be able to obtain these Fortnite skins, or when they’ll be part of the…
