My dad wasn’t happy with my crop top & mini skirt date outfit, it drove him to the whiskey, he wanted me to ‘cover up’
A DAUGHTER has revealed her father’s dramatic reaction to her date night outfit.
She revealed that her dad was absolutely not happy with her look for showing too much skin.
![Tiana Musarra's father was not happy with her date night look](https://www.the-sun.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/6/2023/02/94f209d0-9dc2-47c2-974d-46d33ed0a397.jpg?strip=all&w=760)
The ensemble irked him so much, he even brought out the whiskey.
YouTuber and TikToker Tiana Musarra (@therealtianamusarra) shared her look on social media, which her father asked her to cover up.
She rocked a black corset-style crop top and paired it with a beige mini skirt.
“Going on a date guys,” Musarra prefaced. “And he’s not happy about it.”
The beauty turned the camera to her father who looked somber with a glass of alcohol.
Her father gave a simple request: “Could you put a shawl on?”
“He always wants me to wear a shawl,” Musarra laughed. “First of all, shawls are not a thing anymore.”
“Can you cover up something?” her father persisted, suggesting her outfit was inappropriate.
“No,” Musarra replied.
Musarra’s mother could be heard in the background saying: “Yeah like I covered up our first date right?”
The now viral video struck a chord with viewers who shared their two cents on Musarra’s personal style in the comment section.
“It’s your mom having your back for me,” one wrote.
“Right,” Musarra replied.
“Such a cute outfit though” another added.
“Bring shawls back 2023,” a third commented.

Samsung’s 2023 8K Mini LED TV starts at $5,000
Samsung has started shipping its 2023 Neo QLED TV line, and it won’t surprise you to hear that you’ll pay a premium for its ultimate models. The company’s 8K, Mini LED-based QN900C (shown above) starts at $5,000 for a 65-inch set, while a 75-inch variant costs $6,300. The 85-inch version has yet to be priced. If you value 8K but don’t need the full feature set, the QN800C begins at $3,500 for a 65-inch screen and tops out at $6,000 for an 85-inch panel. The 75-inch edition also hasn’t received pricing.
You’re more likely looking at a 4K TV, and you’ll be glad to hear those are considerably more affordable. At the high end, the QN95C ranges from $3,300 for a 65-inch display to $5,800 for an 85-inch beast. The lowest-priced sets are in the mid-tier QN90C series, however — that starts at $1,200 for a compact 43-inch design, with five other sizes that culminate in a $4,800 85-inch set. If you’re looking for (relative) value for money, the QN85C is available for $1,500 in 55-inch form and climbs to $3,800 for the QN85C. Samsung hasn’t yet shared details of the 4K-capable QN935C, which offers thinner bezels and top-firing speakers that enable Dolby Atmos without external speakers.
All 2023 Neo QLED TVs fit better into your smart home. They include both Matter Thread and SmartThings-friendly Zigbee hubs that coordinate compatible devices.
The QN900C’s hook isn’t just its 8K resolution. It’s extremely bright at 4,000 nits, and it boasts improved contrast as well as HDR “remastering” for older content. All the QN-series TVs boast Mini LED as well, although they’re poised to be iterative upgrades compared to their 2022 counterparts. Like last year, the standout is arguably the OLED model — the S95C is your pick if you demand perfect black levels and minimal lag.

I work in crop tops and mini skirts – I know my outfits are inappropriate but it doesn’t matter because I’m the boss
A WOMAN has been hit with online hate for wearing crop tops and mini skirts to work – even though she is the boss.
The professional shared that she knows that the clothes she wears to work are inappropriate, but she doesn’t care.

TikTok user Danielle Ormond (@deefc07) shared a video of herself at work that has caused many viewers on the platform to troll her for her lack of proper work attire, even though she’s the supposed person in charge.
Ormond is the mother of small children and maintains a lean body shape that gives her the confidence to wear short and tight clothing.
In the video, the company director appears not to wear the typical business attire, like a blazer, dark trousers, or closed-toe shoes while at her place of work.
She gives viewers a glimpse into what she wears on a typical Friday at the workplace.
The video consists of the blonde woman panning the camera up and down her body as she sits in a black office chair.
The subtitles “working late” and “inappropriately dressed” pop up on the screen for a short period of time.
Ormond is wearing a red babydoll crop top with ruching, a medium-wash denim mini skirt, and strappy sandals.
The song “Behind These Hazel Eyes” by Kelly Clarkson plays in the background, and she mouths the lyrics “here I am, once again.”
The words “Happy Friday” are written on the screen before the video comes to a close.
Her choice of audio for the TikTok makes it seem as if the style she is wearing in the video is typical boss behavior on a Friday.
Many viewers in the comment section of the video sang Ormond’s praises.
“Wow, wish you were my boss,” a viewer wrote online.
“You always dress wonderfully,” one user commented.
“Dress how u like unless the boss doesn’t agree lol” another added.
Though, there were a few people who were not impressed by the TikTok user’s choice of attire.
“Look professional,” one viewer bluntly wrote.

We’re all waiting for Apple to bring USB-C to the iPhone. But wouldn’t it be neat to be able to put all those old lightning cables to use even after the company switches to USB-C?
HomePod (2023) vs. HomePod mini: Worth the upgrade?
![HomePod and HomePod mini](https://helios-i.mashable.com/imagery/articles/06oJffyKfz1oZdra1CII4P9/hero-image.jpg)
Apple’s new HomePod (2023) is, at first glance, a dead ringer for the original HomePod, which launched in 2018. In the meantime, Apple launched the HomePod mini, which was the company’s only speaker for nearly two years, as the original HomePod was discontinued in early 2021.
The new HomePod and the HomePod mini share a similar set of features, though at very different price points. So should you go for one HomePod, or buy two HomePods mini instead (leaving you with a hundred bucks to spare)? Let’s dive in.
Cute, small and colorful versus big and beautiful
Just like the original, the new HomePod has a cylindrical shape, and is dressed in an interwoven mesh fabric, with volume controls, and an animated touch display on top, which lights up when you invoke Siri. The HomePod mini is smaller, cuter, and way lighter (5.16 pounds vs. 0.76 pounds), but its basic features are the same: Mesh fabric cover, touch display and volume controls on top. It is way more colorful, though, as you can get it in Space Gray, Blue, White, Yellow, and Orange, whereas the HomePod only comes in Midnight and White colors.

It’s worth noting that, due to the sheer size difference, the HomePod is a far more striking and beautiful object to place in your home. Mini is almost inconsequential; I’ve owned it for a year, and over time it got pushed behind the TV by other objects such as fruit baskets and candles. The HomePod, especially if you buy two, is something that you definitely want to be seen.
The same set of features
In terms of features, the HomePod and the HomePod mini are remarkably similar. They both support Bluetooth 5 and Wi-Fi 802.11n connectivity, come with an accelerometer as well as humidity and temperature sensors, and have sound recognition capabilities.
Despite the fact that the HomePod mini has an older chip (Apple’s S5 vs. HomePod’s S7), it’s hard to point at a feature that the HomePod mini doesn’t have. It seamlessly integrates with other Apple devices, runs Siri just the same, and can be paired with another mini to get stereo sound. It even has four microphones listening for input, just like its bigger, younger brother. If you want to nitpick, the HomePod has a detachable power cable, whereas the HomePod mini has a non-detachable USB-C cable which has to be plugged into an external, 20W power adapter. Neither speaker is designed to be moved around too often, so once you set them up, you probably won’t notice.

The similarities stop at the way these two speakers produce sound. The HomePod has an array of five tweeters firing in all directions, coupled with a 4-inch woofer. The HomePod mini has an entirely different design, with a single speaker and two passive radiators, which improve its bass response, but cannot get it to sound as deep as the new HomePod.
HomePod likes pop, HomePod mini likes rock
I’ve compared the HomePod to the HomePod mini side-by-side. When you listen to each speaker separately, they sound similar, with lots of bass and a surprising airiness to the sound. But when you actually compare them directly, switching from one to the other at same volume, the difference is astounding. Switching from the smaller to the bigger speaker is like listening to a concert through a closed door, and then opening it and stepping inside.
The HomePod is louder and has more bass, but it also has tons more clarity and definition across the entire frequency range. That’s not to say the HomePod mini sounds bad; it just cannot hold a candle to the bigger speaker.
The difference is most pronounced when reproducing bassy pop and hip hop, like something from Rosalia or Drake. Interestingly, even though the HomePod still sounds better, the difference is much smaller when listening to rock, like Queens of the Stone Age or All Them Witches. The HomePod offers more clarity, but the HomePod mini has a better sound mix, with the instruments nicely tied together, the bass and the distorted guitars happily producing a punchy, deep sound. In contrast, the HomePod puts too much treble in the mix. I’ve said this in my HomePod review, and I’ll repeat it here: It’s a pity that Apple doesn’t offer any sort of equalizer for the HomePods, as they could both benefit from some fine tuning.
The real question for prospective buyers, I think, is whether to buy two HomePods mini for $198 or one HomePod for $299. Adding another speaker to the mix gives you stereo and vastly improves the overall sound. Given that the feature list between the HomePod and HomePod mini is practically identical, going for two minis is a good cost-conscious option. Of course, if money is no object, go for two HomePods; doubling down does wonders for the sound and makes the speakers a great option for home cinema audio.

Apple Now Selling Refurbished iPad Mini 6 and M1 iPad Pro Models
Pricing on the iPad mini 6 starts at $419 for the 64GB model, an $80 discount off of the original $499 starting price tag. Apple is offering multiple color options, with a 256GB model also available for $549, a $100 discount.
The iPad mini 6 initially came out in September 2021, and it features an edge-to-edge display and iPad Air-like design with Touch ID power button. It measures in at 7.9 inches and is Apple’s smallest tablet option.
Pricing on the refurbished third-generation 11-inch iPad Pro starts at $639 for 128GB of storage, while pricing on the fifth-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro starts at $889, also for 128GB of storage. Space Gray and Silver color options are available, and there are higher storage tiers and cellular iPad Pro models at discounted prices as well.
The 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models that Apple added to the refurbished store today were initially introduced in 2021 and they feature prior-generation M1 chips. Apple in October 2022 refreshed the iPad Pro lineup, introducing M2 chips.
Supplies of the refurbished iPad models will shift over time as Apple adds new devices and as devices sell out, so those wanting a specific configuration or color may want to check back often.
Refurbished products from Apple are almost identical to new products, and are subject to a refurbishment process that includes full functionality testing. Refurbished products are eligible for AppleCare+ and have the same 14-day return period as new Apple devices.
(Thanks, Dave!)
