Fairphone is one company that has followed through with building repairable and sustainable smartphones with extended support, and now, it’s looking like it’ll be entering a new product category with a set of over-ear Fairbuds XL noise-canceling headphones, which you can see in detail thanks to leaked images and details published by WinFuture (via Android Police).
The leaked Fairbuds images include black and green color options, and you can clearly see speckles in the finish of each cup’s structure that point to the company’s usage of recycled plastics. One side of the set has a button and a nub that looks like either a dial (a la Apple’s AirPods Max) or a mini joystick, and the headset can be folded inward toward its cushiony headband.

Renders Depict iPhone 15 Plus With Slimmed Bezels, USB-C Port, Dynamic Island and More
Like the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus will feature a Dynamic Island instead of a notch, with Apple bringing the Dynamic Island design to the entire iPhone lineup in 2023. It will also include a USB-C port instead of a Lightning port, another change that Apple is making to all iPhone 15 devices.
The images indicate that in addition to a Dynamic Island, the iPhone 15 Plus will have slightly slimmer bezels, and there may be minor tweaks to the size and thickness of the device. 9to5Mac says that the iPhone 15 Plus CAD design features “slightly rounded edges” for a smoother transition from the front of the device to the back and a slightly thicker camera bump.
iPhone 15 Plus | iPhone 14 Plus |
---|---|
160.87mm tall | 160.84mm tall |
77.76mm wide | 78.07mm wide |
7.81mm thick | 7.79mm thick |
Apple’s iPhone 15 Plus is expected to be identical in design and feature set to the iPhone 15, and it will continue to include a dual-lens camera with Wide and Ultra Wide lenses. The main difference between the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus is expected to be battery size, as the iPhone 15 Plus is 6.7 inches and the iPhone 15 is 6.1 inches.
Other iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus rumored features include the same A16 chip that’s in the iPhone 14 Pro models, a Qualcomm X70 modem, and blue and pink color options. More on what’s expected for the iPhone 15 can be found in our dedicated roundup.
We also have a roundup of features expected for the higher-end iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will include a faster A17 chip, a titanium chassis, a more curved design, and camera improvements, among other additions.

Rumored iPhone 15 Pro Design With Thinner Bezels, Thicker Camera Bump and USB-C Port Shown Off in Renders
With the iPhone 15 lineup, a USB-C port will be added to all iPhone 15 models in lieu of the Lightning port. Based on the renders, the port won’t look significantly different, but there may be some changes to the speaker holes at the bottom.
The iPhone 15 Pro models are expected to have somewhat thinner bezels than than the iPhone 14 Pro models, plus there is a minor change to the curve of the edges. The frame is slightly more curved and the glass curves into the edges, a subtle but noticeable tweak.
Zelbo’s renders suggest that the iPhone 15 Pro camera bump will be thicker than the iPhone 14 Pro camera bump, with the lenses expected to be thicker as well. The layout is generally the same, and it is worth noting that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to get a unique periscope lens that will not be available on other iPhone 15 models.
With rumors that the iPhone 15 Pro models will transition to solid state buttons rather than physical buttons for the volume and power controls, we can expect some design changes. The renders do not appear to have the finished buttons included, as they are based on “early CAD drawings” likely sourced from Apple suppliers.
Overall, the iPhone 15 Pro models will look similar to the iPhone 14 Pro models based on these renders, but there will be some notable design updates that refine the look of the devices. For more on what to expect from the iPhone 15 Pro models, we have a dedicated roundup with all of the rumors.
