Diablo 4 Season 1 Begins In July, Blizzard Details Seasonal Bonuses And Battle Pass Rewards
Diablo IV’s first season will arrive in mid to late July following the game’s launch on June 6, Blizzard has announced. The news came as part of developer livestream dedicated to offering new details related to how Diablo IV’s seasons and battle pass will work.
Seasons in Diablo IV will be quarterly (four a year) and will function similarly to how they did in Diablo III, with players looking to complete objectives as part of a Season Journey. Objectives are broken down into chapters, and players will need to complete most, but not all, of the objectives in one chapter before progressing to the next. Completing objectives as part of the Season Journey will contribute towards leveling up the seasonal battle pass, which will feature 27 free reward tiers. Playing and leveling up seasonal characters will also contribute towards battle pass progress.
The free reward tiers will occasionally include a special currency called Smoldering Ash, which is used to unlock and upgrade seasonal perks (called Season Blessings) that will grant various benefits to seasonal characters, ranging from increased XP earned from monsters to having a higher chance of acquiring rare salvage materials. Blizzard re-emphasized that players won’t be able to pay for power in Diablo IV by purchasing tier skips for the battle pass to earn Smoldering Ash and immediately make their seasonal characters more powerful, as each Smoldering Ash reward will have level requirements that will need to be met before they can be used.

Destiny 2 Season Of Defiance Seasonal Challenges Guide Week 8
Destiny 2 is currently experiencing that quiet moment in Season of Defiance, one where the majority of the story content has been completed and the chase to gradually increase your overall power continues. There’s still plenty to do in week 8 of the game, as a handful of new objectives are available to pursue.
This week, there are six Seasonal Challenges available. Similar to previous weeks, these are mostly focused on the Defiant Battlegrounds activity, and if you run through a few of these levels with a sword, bow, or glaive equipped, you’ll complete several of them in one go. You can earn some Bright Dust in Trials of Osiris if you win a few rounds, and if you feel like some Gambit, there’s a challenge there that’ll earn you some more rewards.

More Seasonal Content And Items Are Leaving Destiny 2 With Lightfall Release
Before the launch of yearly expansions in Destiny 2, some content enters the Destiny Content Vault, removing it from the game. In this week’s blog post, Bungie shared some items, currencies, and quests that will enter the Destiny Content Vault when Lightfall launches on February 28 as Destiny 2’s Year 6 DLC, and it includes the bulk of the new seasonal content from the past year.
All bounties, missions, and quests from Season of the Risen–which launched with The Witch Queen expansion–up through the current Season of the Seraph will leave the game, except for PsiOps and Heist Battlegrounds activities. All Battlegrounds activities will be in the Vanguard Ops playlist in the upcoming season.
Additionally, Ritual weapons, Pinnacle weapon quests, and Ornaments earned from Season 16 to Season 19 will enter the DCV. However, such gear will be available at the Monument to Lost Lights Exotic Archive at the Tower by the Vault.

The Xbox Series X|S version of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has been delayed, as has the upcoming seasonal content rollout for the game. On Twitter, developer Fatshark released a statement announcing the delay, citing feedback from the community as the reason for the delay.
“Over the next few months, our sole focus is to address the feedback that many of you have,” Fatshark CEO and co-founder Martin Wahlund wrote in the statement. “In particular, we will focus on delivering a complete crafting system, a more rewarding progression loop, and continue to work on game stability and performance optimization.”
