AN optical illusion shared by Venmo is sending followers into a tailspin as they try to read the hidden message – can you decipher the code without any help?

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, the widely-used mobile payment service shared a photo of heart sunglasses with words written on them.

The illusion image is hard to read at first, tasking viewers to think outside the box to solve it.

“We’ve got a message that’ll make you blush,” Venmo wrote in the caption.

At first glance, the image appears to be a QR code but using your phone’s camera won’t help you figure it out.

However, your phone may come in handy if you’re in a pinch.

On the lens of the sunglasses is a hidden message in blue letters but it’s hard to make out with the pink design.

If you can read it without any assistance, you may just have sharper eyes than most.

But if you’re still struggling, Venmo has offered a hint.

“Screenshot this post and use the pink highlighter to see what it says,” read the rest of the caption.

By screenshotting the image, you can find it saved on the photo app on your phone.

After this, you can tap to edit the image and then choose to draw on it using the highlighter tool.

By using a dark pink highlighter and drawing on the hearts, you’ll be able to reveal the hidden message.

“You’re my Venmo crush.”

The post then calls for viewers to tag their “Venmo crush” after solving the riddle.

Many people admitted the illusion had them quite stumped.

“For a second I thought I was colorblind,” one commenter said.

“Yeah I’m colorblind,” another commenter said.

Try to look very closely and you won’t be able to unseen it once you spot it.

The color of the pink heart is very similar to the other pink lips making it hard to find.
