Sims 5 release date speculation and wishlist
Wondering if there will ever be a The Sims 5 release date? Well, we’re not certain it’ll be called The Sims 5, but EA has officially unveiled its next Sims game, and for now, it’s called Project Rene.
We’ve been playing The Sims 4 for eight years now, and while the life sim is kept fresh by Sims 4 cheats, CC packs and even sex mods, we’re desperate to see a brand-new addition to the series. While Electronic Arts has kept painfully schtum about a new Sims game, we finally have something resembling a Sims 5 release date following the reveal of Project Rene, which is effectively a super early access version of its next Sims experience.

Fantasy art in Last of Us Part 1 sparks speculation of a new Naughty Dog IP
The Last of Us Part 1 is out and firmly in the hands of players across the world. A great overhaul of an already brilliant game (as per our review), many are jumping in and scouring the world in Joel’s shoes once again. However, a secret recently found in this new version of the Naughty Dog 3rd person classic has some curious about the next big IP from the studio.
In the new game, players can track down and take a look at pin boards inside a pitch-black building. With the help of a flashlight, you can see several pieces of fantastical art featuring dragons, a variety of fantasy characters, and other mystical creatures and settings.
Now, there’s been no word on what the team at Naughty Dog are working on next, aside from the Last of Us multiplayer title they teased earlier this year. However, the studio has a history if littering their games with hints towards future titles. Uncharted 3 famously featured an easter egg pointing towards The Last of Us before its official reveal, so the likelihood that this is a similar situation isn’t nil.
Genshin Impact Nilou banner release date speculation
From datamined information, we are expecting a Genshin Impact Nilou banner with the release of the next update, 3.1. Now the Genshin Impact 3.0 release date has been and gone, dataminers are already gathering information about the anime game’s next update, including new characters, weapons, and more.
One of the new characters believed to be coming with Genshin Impact 3.1 is Nilou, a sword-wielding Hydro user. Confirmed by Hoyoverse in a tweet, Nilou is every bit the graceful performer, officially titled Dance of Lotuslight. Everything else we know about Nilou – like her abilities, ascension, and artifacts – comes from datamined information on Honey Hunter World, so is susceptible to change before the official update release.

Speculation Continues Since 2015 Vancouver Island UFO Sighting (VIDEO)
An Esquimalt, British Columbia couple has footage of what they say is a UFO that was flying over the CFB Esquimalt base on Monday, April 27, 2015. A strange object has been caught on video flying across the night sky in Esquimalt, B.C., and the people who filmed it insist it’s a UFO.
Brian Cooper and his wife Melissa were relaxing in bed watching a movie on Monday night when all of a sudden they saw something outside their window: two strange objects darting around the night sky.
“At that point, we were at a loss for words and we were like ‘what the hell is that?’” Brian Cooper told CTV Vancouver Island. Cooper and his wife leaped out to their second-story balcony and used their cell phone to film what he claims is likely a secret military vehicle, or maybe even proof of alien life.
“I have never seen anything like this in my life. I’m a very skeptical person,” he said. Cooper said the objects first appeared around 8:30 p.m. While one soon vanished, the other kept flying over the area – including over Esquimalt’s Navy base. He describes it as being as big as a Volkswagen, flying like a drone, except much faster. He said the circular craft had lights that “spun in all different directions.”
The couple wasn’t the only one to witness the strange phenomenon. Veralynn Weaver, who lives upstairs, says she also saw the UFOs, and can’t explain what they are either.
“I have no idea,” she said. “I’ve grown up on military bases and I’ve never seen anything like that.” The Navy base declined to view the cell phone footage but confirmed there were no military flights of any kind near the base on Monday. No reports were filed to either the Victoria or Saanich police either. CTV Vancouver Island showed the footage to Dr. John Willis, a professor of physics and astronomy at the University of Victoria. He said with grainy and shaky cell phone video – with no audio – it’s impossible to determine exactly what’s in the sky.
“These are taken on the spur of the moment,” he said, adding that 99 percent of the time there’s a UFO sighting there is also a simple explanation. As for whether he believes it could be an alien life form?
“I can’t definitely rule it out on the basis of that evidence. But I’m going to put my eggs in one basket and say no,” he said. Willis said a more likely explanation is that the flying object is a drone, but “with evidence of this quality you can’t make a 100 percent call every time.”
After being shown the video, an expert in drones said it’s likely that what the Coopers saw was a phantom aircraft. “That’s a UAV drone. Multi-rotor, electric air vehicle,” said David Carlos of Victoria Air Photos & Survey. But much like Willis, the expert was careful not to rule everything out. “I would say absolutely not an alien life form. But never 100 percent,” Carlos said.
As for the Coopers, they still would like to definitively know what they saw outside their apartment – and aren’t satisfied with the explanation. “Personally, I do not have a rational explanation of what it was,” said Brian Cooper. With files from CTV Vancouver Island’s Robert Buffam.
