I’m 55 and still wear miniskirts – I don’t care for outdated rules, I have no boundaries
A 55-YEAR-OLD woman has shared that she wears miniskirts and has no intention of stopping.
She says she doesn’t care for outdated rules on fashion.
Laura (@mixtapemomma) shared her outfit with over 9,000 TikTok followers.
The blonde stepped out of a car in a grey miniskirt and white tube top, the first fit of many in what she dubbed: “The Miniskirt Series.”
“Are you ready for the five day series?” she teased.
The fashion influencer encouraged her fans to dress as they pleased despite their age.
“Breaking any rules of no miniskirts after the age of 35,” she said.
“The new 50-year-olds have no boundaries.”
The influencer believed that fashion trends included her age demographic as well: “Fashion trends reveal short skirts,” she said.
People took to the comments to share their thoughts on her fit and philosophy.
Many agreed with her take: “Absolutely,” said one commenter.
“Amazing,” said another.
Others were impressed with her physique: “Unbelievable body,” said one admirer.
“Fantastic,” said another.

Switch 2 Who? Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Shows Switch Still Has Juice Left
Switch 2, Switch Pro, or whatever it ends up being called–it seems like every time a rumor stirs talks about new Nintendo hardware, or a conversation about visuals and performance in a Switch game comes up, we turn our eyes to the need for a new or upgraded console-handheld with beefier specs than that of the Switch. We know it’s not coming anytime soon, though. Despite the grumblings about Switch performance, we’re still seeing games make the most of the aging tech. And hot on the heels of a generational great on a six year-old system, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a technical marvel.
Tears of the Kingdom isn’t exactly playing in the same ballpark as the more robust, graphically demanding games on other platforms. It also only needs to run 720p in handheld mode and shoot for 1080p while docked. However, it’s able to achieve a relatively striking visual experience by leveraging a distinct art style and creating an unmistakable atmosphere that plays into the series’ strengths. More importantly, its sprawling and dense open world now incorporates the exploration of islands in the sky and a massive underground system the size of the surface itself, all without demanding state-of-the-art hardware. So if you thought Breath of the Wild was big, well, Tears of the Kingdom is on a whole ‘nother level.
The key is it comes together through seamless exploration and relative consistency of its technical performance. You can dive from a sky island, look out into the entirety of Hyrule, then drop straight through a chasm into the depths–having tested that myself, there wasn’t a hitch and maintained the target frame rate throughout. Graphical “tricks” and techniques make this possible, of course, as not everything in the distance is always rendered in complete detail and dynamic resolution helps lighten the load while masking moments of lower image quality. Regardless, I’m often just impressed that a game of this size and scope even runs on the Switch.

Elon Musk has once again lost a court battle over his right to shitpost unfettered. The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York City has rejected the billionaire’s bid to end his 2018 agreement with the Securities and Exchange Commission that mandates legal oversight on some of Tesla-related tweets.
Gollum Actor Andy Serkis Still Wants To Come Back For New Lord Of The Rings Movies
Actor Andy Serkis, who famously played Gollum in Peter Jackson’s The Lord of the Rings movie series, has said for at least a second time that he would be interested in coming back for the newly announced Lord of the Rings films.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Serkis said Peter Jackson and writing partners Fran Walsh and Philippa Boyens are “a second family to me.” Jackson, Walsh, and Boyens are not confirmed to be coming back yet, but if they do, Serkis would jump at the opportunity to be involved.
“I’ve spent so many years making films with them,” Serkis said. “I love their sensibility and their take; it’s filmmaking on a different kind of level. You live and breathe it. And so, yes, if some opportunity were to come up, it would be an amazing thing.”
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor PC patches tested: less stuttering, still slow
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor developers Respawn Entertainment have been busy on patch duty, pumping out a series of updates aimed at addressing the torrid state of its PC performance at launch. The newest, last week’s Patch 4, sounded particularly enthusiastic about tackling Jedi: Survivor’s technical troubles, so now would be a fine time to check in on the progress of this fixing-upping campaign.
A few droid decapitatin’ benchmark runs later, I can say that Patch 4 (and its predecessors) have made meaningful improvements to ray tracing performance, and that there’s a lot less stuttering than there was at launch – even if this hasn’t been smoothed out entirely. General performance, however, remains deeply underwhelming, with powerful GPUs still unable to achieve a bulletproof 60fps even at 1080p.
