She’s STILL Winning B*tch! Lizzo’s “Big Grrrls” Takes Home “Best Competition” EMMY at 2022 Ceremony
Just weeks after clapping back at the haters (*ahem* Aries Spears) while collecting her first MTV VMA at the 2022 ceremony (as we reported here), Lizzo took to the stage of the 74th annual EMMY Awards Monday night (September 12) to accept yet another major industry trophy.

4K ProRes Video Recording on iPhone 14 Pro Still Requires at Least 256GB Model
ProRes video recording is limited to 1080p at 30 frames per second on iPhone 14 Pro models with a 128GB storage capacity. To record ProRes video in 4K at 30 frames per second, a model with a 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage capacity is required.
A footnote on Apple’s press release announcing the iPhone 14 Pro models:
iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max support ProRes video recording in the Camera app at 1080p 30 fps with the 128GB storage option, and up to 4K 30 fps with 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options.
The lack of 4K ProRes video recording support on 128GB models is likely due to the 4K videos having very large file sizes. Apple says a one-minute 10-bit ProRes video is approximately 1.7GB in 1080p and approximately 6GB in 4K.
Introduced on iPhone 13 Pro models, ProRes refers to a family of codecs from Apple that can compress videos into smaller file sizes with “impressive image quality preservation.” Apple says ProRes is designed as a final delivery format for high-quality videos like commercials, feature films, and broadcasts.
ProRes video recording is still not supported at all on the standard iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus.

Assassin’s Creed Infinity is still years away
Assassin’s Creed Infinity still exists, is still a confusing Assassin’s Creed live service, maybe?
About a year ago we learned about the existence of something called Assassin’s Creed Infinity (or, more precisely, Project Infinity, but we’re all just calling it Infinity). The suggestion that Assassin’s Creed might become a live service online game akin to Fortnite was quite upsetting to me. Thankfully, VP executive producer on Assassin’s Creed Marc-Alexis Côté (aka MAC) appeared on tonight’s Ubisoft Forward livestream to explain more about Infinity, and I am slightly less alarmed but no less confused. Rather than a game, MAC says that Infinity is “going to be the single entry point for our fans into the Assassin’s Creed franchise in the future”.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns gets a release date for PC and new-gen systems, still no word on last-gen
During the Disney and Marvel Games Showcase today, a December 2 release date was announced for Marvel’s Midnight Suns.
The date applies to the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S versions with no mention of PS3, Switch, and Xbox One – consoles which were announced alongside the game back in August 2021.
This isn’t the first time the consoles weren’t mentioned alongside news of the game. Just last month, when the game was delayed from its October 7 release date, last-gen and Switch versions were said to following “at a later date.” And as of today, there is still no word on when or if the game will release on older-gen and Switch systems.
