Vin Diesel Claims Fast X Begins a Trilogy, But We’re Not So Sure
Fast X, which hits theaters next week, has long been planned as the beginning of the end. Even its teaser poster says “The end of the road begins,” which doesn’t make much sense—but then again, neither do the Fast and Furious movies most of the time. Fast X was supposed to be the lead-in to an 11th and final movie,…

MMA fans were divided over the outcome of Edward’s first title defence, which many believe Usman edged.
Two of the judges scored the first two rounds in favour of Edwards, with one giving Usman the second stanza.
All three judges were in unison with their scoring of the third, in which Edwards was deducted a point.
Veteran judge Ben Cartlidge scored the fourth stanza in favour of Usman and gave the fifth to Edwards.
And judges David Lethaby and Chris Lee scored both fights in favour of the defending champion.
The former street kid turned Birmingham community icon Edwards was overcome with emotion after retaining the strap.
He said: “He didn’t get any takedowns and I was defending multiple of his shots.
“I want to say thank you to him, he’s been a great competitor.

“I was trying to get the head kick, but fair play to him because he had perfect defence.”
Usman cut a dejected figure but insisted his second loss on the bounce won’t send him into retirement.

“He put on a hell of a gameplan.
“I’m going to get back to my coaches because I can’t sit out for too long, I start getting antsy.”
The Mandalorian Characters Don’t Necessarily Have to Cross Over With the Sequel Trilogy
In Star Wars, you’re always wondering what’s happening off-screen. Where was Luke when this was happening? Did Rey know about this? Wouldn’t Yoda be around at this time? It’s both the blessing and curse of telling new stories in an established canon, and Dave Filoni thinks that two major pieces of Star Wars lore…
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor director wants Cal’s story to become a trilogy
There may be more Cal Kestis in our future if the director of Star Wars: Jedi Survivor has their way.
Speaking with IGN, Stig Asmussen told the outlet that if the upcoming game performs well, we might see a third and final entry in the saga.
“We were already talking about the second game (in 2019),” said Asmussen. “I mean, frankly, we were talking beyond. And these are conversations that, when we’re breaking this story with Lucasfilm, it’s like: ‘Well, where are we going with the second game?'”

Ant-Man Was Planned As A Trilogy, Director Says
Although Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania has been chosen to kickstart Marvel’s Phase 5, it’s also the third movie in Ant-Man’s personal saga. In a new interview, director Peyton Reed has explained that he always thought of the films as a trilogy–though he didn’t rule out more Ant-Man films in the MCU’s future.
Speaking to Lifehacker Australia, Reed explained that his vision for the Ant-Man movies was influenced by the films he grew up with. “I think in the back of your mind, for an optimistic person, you’re like oh, it would be great to do a trilogy of these movies,” Reed explained. “I grew up with trilogies, Back to the Future, Star Wars, the Indiana Jones trilogy. So to me, it’s like I treated this like a three act structure of this story.”
“There were things in the first movie and the second movie we set up that I really wanted to pay off in this movie – character-wise, environment-wise – and to have it culminate with this encounter with this big villain,” Reed added. The inclusion of notorious Marvel supervillain Kang the Conquerer is also the reason Quantumania was chosen to lead Phase 5, Reed said, describing him as a “sort of depth charge to the MCU.”
