Gran Turismo PC could follow God of War, Uncharted, and Spider-Man
Gran Turismo PC might become another big Sony PlayStation exclusive on PC, with the racing game potentially following in the footsteps of God of War, Horizon Zero Dawn, Spider-Man Miles Morales, and the Uncharted series to come to gaming PCs. Speaking at the ongoing Gran Turismo World Finals in Monaco, series creator Kazunori Yamauchi says that the possibility of a PC version of Gran Turismo 7 or future titles is something the Polyphony Digital team is “looking into.”

The Ryzen 7 5800X is down to £234 with a 64GB Micro SD card and Uncharted Legacy of Thieves Collection
The AMD Ryzen 7 5800X is a good gaming CPU with better content creation performance than the more expensive 5800X3D – even though it’s slower than the X3D in gaming. Still, at its price point it hits a punch, and the boffins at HUKD have spotted a good deal for the 5800X at CCL. There, you can find the 5800X for £235 when you use code AFF15 with some nifty extras: a 64GB Micro SD card and a code for Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves.
The way it works is pretty simple – you need to get your total basket over £250 for the AFF15 code to work. So, pick anything on the store that’s more than £5.51, like this Micro SD card, add it to your basket alongside the 5800X, then use the AFF15 code to bring the price down to the £235 we quoted. The game code will come with your order, no opt-in necessary, from what we understand.
If you’ve never played Uncharted, should you start with the Legacy Of Thieves Collection?
This week, the Uncharted: Legacy Of Thieves Collection came to PC, marking the first time Nathan Drake’s Tombraider-but-a-bro adventures have arrived on our fair platform. It is also, err, a collection of the last games in the series. The bundle comprises Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and The Lost Legacy, a standalone Uncharted adventure featuring ladythieves Chloe Frazer and Nadine Ross (they are thieves who are ladies, they don’t steal women). Uncharteds 1-3, on the other hand, are nowhere to be seen. In fact, the only way to play them on PC right this second is to buy an expensive PlayStation Plus Premium subscription and stream them via the cloud as part of the Nathan Drake Collection – a far from ideal solution.
This puts us PC lot in a bit of a pickle. Naturally, if you haven’t played any of these PlayStation exclusives until now, you’re missing three entire games worth of story context. So, is it worth starting with Uncharted 4? The short answer is, “Yes”. The long answer is, “Yeeeeeeeeeees – probably”.

Steam Deck can run Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves at max settings
The Steam Deck continues to prove itself as a powerful portable PC, capable of running the latest games at surprising levels of quality and performance. Now, it seems Valve’s handheld is punching well above expectations once again, this time with a new PlayStation port.

Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection – PC vs. PS5 Performance Review
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection on Steam Deck gives me deep PS Vita nostalgia
2012’s Uncharted: Golden Abyss wasn’t the best Uncharted game. It wasn’t even the best game on Vita at the time, but that didn’t really matter. It was an Uncharted game that looked great, running on a handheld. Those of you who can’t really remember handhelds before the Switch might not understand, but there was something properly magical about seeing games that looked like this on a portable device. The future for the Vita looked exciting… until it wasn’t. RIP, PS Vita – you deserved a lot better.
Anyway, cut to now, and we have another Uncharted game – two in fact – running on a handheld, and once again I’ve got that magical feeling. A sense that I’m living the future right now. The Steam Deck, Valve’s superb handheld Linux PC, packs quite the punch (especially when you look at how it’s priced not far from a Switch OLED – a machine way, way less powerful). The Legacy of Thieves Collection combines PS4 hits, Uncharted 4 and The Lost Legacy, and while I’m sure it runs great on a proper desktop PC, I have played it exclusively “on deck” so to speak. I love it.
I’m no longer a tech wizard, mainly because I just don’t have the time to keep up on all the latest happenings in the GPU space, but I can tell you this. Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves looks absolutely smashing on the Steam Deck. I messed around a little with the graphical settings, and by using AMD’s Fidelity FX Super Resolution 2 on “Balanced” I was able to run on the “high” graphical pre-set at a frame rate that mostly hit 35-40 FPS.
Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection – Steam Deck performance and best settings
The PC continues to collect PlayStation mascots like they’re Maccies Monopoly tickets. This time it’s adventuring iron-quiffed quipper Nathan Drake, courtesy of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection, which is out on Steam on November 19th. And where there’s a Steam game, there’s usually a Steam Deck game, so Liam and I have both busted out the handhelds to see how well this remastered bundle of Uncharted: A Thief’s End and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy takes to more portable hardware. That includes the best settings to use if you want to play it on your own Steam Deck.
You can watch Liam’s video below to see how he got on, along with footage of how Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection runs in situ. After swapping notes we’ve settled on a settings guide that will get you consistently decent performance across both the individual games; if you’d prefer it in text form, read on.
