An electric version of the classic ’60s Mini Moke is driving into the U.S.
For the first time in four decades, MOKE International is releasing a car in the U.S. In the 1960s, the British company’s Mini Moke became an instant classic thanks to celebrities like The Beatles, Michael Kane, and Brigitte Bardot. The lightweight, open-top vehicle was first created for military purposes, but was more widely used by surfers and vacationers who enjoyed a bit of breeze while driving.
The new car, the e-Moke, is the first version of a 1960s original vehicle to become fully electric. It will also be the first highway-friendly Mini Moke in the U.S. Need more reasons for a ride?

250 million devices run Android Go — but the new version is more demanding
Google has announced that over a quarter of a billion devices that people use each month are running Android Go edition, which is designed for phones with limited storage and memory. However, the new version that Google announced on Wednesday, Android 13 Go, will require more power than its predecessors.
Based on the latest version of Google’s mainline OS, Android 13 Go edition adds a version of the Material You system, letting you pick one of four color schemes based on your wallpaper. When Google originally announced Material You as a feature of Android 12 (though the Go edition of that OS didn’t feature it), it also touted the inclusion of fancier animations. Its post about Android 13 Go doesn’t mention those, however — it’s possible…
Modern Warfare 2 has four whole sets of specs for the PC version
As we get closer to the big Modern Warfare 2 launch, more mysteries are being resolved. One such unknown has been the game’s PC requirements. Although the beta specs were fairly modest, we weren’t sure whether they’d hold for the final version.
Infinity Ward has now answered all of our questions, and offered not one, not two, but four sets of PC specs for different configurations.
The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 looks to have the same level of care put into it as with other Call of Duty games in recent years. In that it will support a wide range of options, including ultra-wide resolutions, and higher framerates. It will launch with a new version of Activision’s proprietary Ricochet anti-cheat on day one, too.

Notoriously hard to learn Dwarf Fortress is getting a tutorial for the Steam version
Fantasy construction sim Dwarf Fortress is, by the admission of its designers, difficult to learn and even harder to master. That’s why the game’s Steam version will have its own tutorial. Co-creator Zach Adams has roped in a novice playtester to try the tutorial out, in the form of his wife Annie. Annie bounced off the original, not-so-visually-appealing version of Dwarf Fortress. Yet, says Adams, the tutorial seems to be working to help Annie ease into the game at last.
