Where is Yolanda Saldivar now?
Yolanda Saldívar is in Mountain View Prison in Texas for the murder of Selena.
In 2019, Radar Online reported that Yolanda’s prison job is to “pass out food trays from a cart to other offenders in her cell area,” according to the Public Information Officer.
The outlet also reported Yolanda requested a new trial on March 28, 2019.

Yolanda’s petition for a new trial was dismissed.
What happened to Selena Quintanilla?
Grammy Award-winning singer Selena Quintanilla was murdered in Texas when she was 23.
Her family discovered that Saldívar was embezzling money from both the singer’s fan club and boutiques, which led to her being fired.
Saldívar was the president of Selena’s fan club and the manager of two of her boutiques.
Selena agreed to meet Saldívar at a Days Inn motel in Corpus Christi on March 31, 1995, to retrieve financial records Saldívar had been refusing to turn over.
Saldívar reportedly took a gun from her purse and pointed it at the singer.
Selena tried to flee, but Saldívar shot her once in the back, severing an artery.
Critically wounded, Selena ran towards the lobby for help with Saldívar in pursuit.
Selena collapsed on the floor as the clerk called 911.
She would later die at Corpus Christi Memorial Hospital from blood loss and cardiac arrest.
It took 10 hours for police to arrest Saldívar, who was sitting in her pickup truck in the motel parking lot in a tense stand-off.
