We have news of awards and a prize today, starting with the Outstanding Career award that Stephen E. Braude just received from the Parapsychological Association for more than 20 years of sustained research and contributions to the field. Braude is a philosopher, the recipient of numerous research grants, and the author of seven books, the latest of which is is Dangerous Pursuits: Mediumship, Mind, and Music, published by Anomalist Books. And Professor Chris Roe of the University of Northampton in the UK is the recipient of the Parapsychology Association’s 2022 Outstanding Mentorship Award in recognition of his tireless championing of PhD students in the field of parapsychology. For those who would like to pursue a similar path, you should consider The Linda G. O’Bryant Noetic Sciences Research Prize. IONS is administering the annual $100,000 prize. To win, the research must scientifically prove “the theory that subjective phenomenological awareness is more than an emergent brain property.” (CM)
