The Washington Post offers a series of videos decently portraying the Current State of the public military/intelligence UFO effort. Though nary a “real” ufologist, the January 8, 2023 piece does include Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, Chris Mellon, Lue Elizondo, and of course Tom DeLonge. But also Avi Loeb and even Seth Shostak and Neil deGrasse Tyson appear, Saying All the Right and “Safe” Things about the Problem. As subsequent videos roll, there’s some “requisite” mainstream media “lumping and dissing” of those open to a possible UFO-ET connection. But while also featuring the usual Hollywood “outtakes” which may improve the attention of a general viewership, the set emphasizes a seriousness in the subject. Even if it ignores the generally slow-moving and disappointing public military/IC activities. But maybe John Greenewald has unearthed a pile of material giving us some satisfaction that more’s been happening “beneath the surface.” John presents over 400 pages of Former Acting DoD Inspector General Sean O’Donnell Emails: UFOs and UAP. John says there are “nuggets” in this correspondence, though “mining” will be required. And, fueled by the enactment of the Fiscal Year 2023 National Defense Authorization Act with its UFO/UAP directives, James Carrion pens a long piece about The Great UAP Reckoning that may be on the verge of happening. Carrion’s particular passionate perspective won’t please everyone, but merits some consideration. (WM)
