Found at #24 this week, Latto‘s breakthrough hit, ‘Big Energy,’ maintains a BIG presence on the Billboard Hot 100 nearly a year after its release date.
But if initial response to her banging collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion is any indication, she may soon see ‘Energy’ joined by the ‘Traumazine’ tune.
Details inside:
‘Budget,’ found aboard Stallion’s August 12-released sophomore album, came as an easy standout among the project’s 18 tracks (according to fans and many top industry critics).
Evidence of the favorable response to the OG Parker-produced cut was delivered via the refreshed Hot 100 which sees it land at #87, one of three tunes from ‘Traumazine’ to make a premiere this week (‘Her’ – #62, ‘Ungrateful’ – #82).
Its arrival in the chart’s fourth quadrant comes as a milestone for Latto as it’s her highest Hot 100 debut to date. Her biggest hit, ‘Big Energy,’ opened at #88 when it first appeared on the hit list in November 2021. Further, ‘Budget’ marks her third overall entry on the tally to date following ‘Big’ and ‘B*tch from da Souf’ (which peaked at #95 in August 2020).
