Excited England fan Tess, 8, steals nation’s hearts AGAIN during adorable BBC interview as she’s handed Lionesses shirt

A SCHOOLGIRL who inspired the nation after she was filmed belting out Sweet Caroline left viewers thrilled again today as she was handed a special Lioness shirt.

Tess Dolan, eight, went viral on Tuesday as she excitedly boogied to the victory anthem while watching the Lionesses roar to the final.

She is one of the 90,000 England fans who has travelled to Wembley tonight for the historic Euro’s clash against Germany after landing tickets to the final.

Tess looked thrilled as she was interviewed by Gabby Logan, Ian Wright and Alex Scott on BBC1 today ahead of the match.

The lucky youngster, who dreams of becoming a footballer, was also left stunned when her favourite player Alessia Russo sent her a special message.

The forward told her: “Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your support this summer. We’ve loved hearing you on the TV and Twitter.

Jubilant Tess squealed “oh my gosh” as she was handed the personalised shirt and clapped her hands together.

She also exclaimed “wow” when Gabby told her it was Russo’s actual shirt from the semi-final against Sweden.

Stunned Tess said: “That is amazing. Like, what?”

The schoolgirl, who plays for Wakefield youth team Scotton Scorchers, was unaware she was being filmed celebrating the Lioness’ 4-0 win on Tuesday with the Neil Diamond hit.

The heartwarming clip immediately went viral as sports stars praised her for inspiring other youngsters to enjoy women’s football.

Reacting to the clip going viral, Tess said previously: “It’s crazy! I didn’t know I was being filmed.

“Like normally they look at the big screen, and they’re like I’m on telly! I was in the moment.”

She later added: “It was amazing. I didn’t know I was on TV until my mum got lots of text messages from people. I was just dancing and enjoying myself.

“I was singing Sweet Caroline and then my mum started getting messages. It’s really weird to be on TV, but it feels amazing.”
