While the UK is still enduring a drought thanks to the ongoing long hot summer, Nessie sightings had also dried up, until a few days ago, when only the fifth “official” sighting was made—though video footage, like the monster, has yet to emerge. But maybe there’s hope for better and more frequent images thanks to some New Loch Ness Webcams and an Appeal. Glasgow Boy has been checking out five recently-installed webcams situated at the Loch and is encouraged by the quality of what he’s seen so far. And if anyone can offer “general footage” of the Loch from the 1960s to the 1980s, he’ll be glad to pass it along to his film-maker friend for a forthcoming documentary. (LP)
