First Not-For-Profit To Leverage WeWork’s New Platform

Posted on August 26, 2022 By Charlielikes

Software to support meaningful in-person collaboration for its more than 200 rising leaders globally; 20:40 signs onto WeWork’s new platform.

First Not-For-Profit To Leverage WeWork Platform

WeWork (NYSE: WE), a leading global flexible space provider, has announced 20:40 as the first not-for-profit organisation to leverage WeWork Workplace.

Launched in July 2022, WeWork Workplace is a universal platform designed to help companies bring flexible work models to life, without sacrificing the culture, collaboration, and productivity that happens in person. Announced on the heels of International Youth Day, 20:40 will utilise the platform to complement how it currently leverages WeWork space, and enable its more than 200 next generation leaders and companies around the world to help drive meaningful, in-person connections.

Bringing Future Innovators Together

20:40 was born during the pandemic, in November 2020, as a response to the importance of bringing future leaders together to compound trust, passion and collaboration over the full length of a career. To help these innovators connect physically, 20:40 became an early adopter of the WeWork All Access monthly subscription, enabling its members to visit WeWork locations globally, when appropriate. WeWork Workplace will build on this, providing the technology capability to optimise how these next generation leaders engage with space and one another – and provide 20:40 with actionable data to inform decision making in real time about what to do and where to be.

Work Environments That Spark Connection & Collaboration

“20:40 and WeWork share a common belief that to bring people together – to provide a work environment that sparks connection and collaboration – we must equip companies and their employees with solutions that help them achieve their potential,” said Sandeep Mathrani, WeWork’s Chairman & CEO. “This is especially important for our future leaders, and I am delighted that WeWork is able to play a part in enabling 20:40 to build a hybrid work strategy that helps these outstanding individuals to more seamlessly build the future together.”

“We are in the business of building an opportunity community that allows its members to connect and develop as part of a peer-to-peer environment, and we do it to help support the creation of as much magic as possible between our extraordinary members,” said Sam Tidswell-Norrish, 20:40’s Co-Founder and Co-Chair. “WeWork’s global locations and now WeWork Workplace makes that increasingly possible, and we could not be more grateful to the dedicated and passionate WeWork team who have worked so hard on the development of this game-changing technology solution. Bringing two organisations together – 20:40 and WeWork – that have a deeply rooted passion for a better future is extremely exciting.”

20:40 counts WeWork CEO and Chairman, Sandeep Mathrani, as a patron, alongside other high profile individuals. 20:40’s membership – which includes entrepreneurs, executives and philanthropists across all sectors, as well as sports personalities and investors – have been demonstrating the power of digital and physical collaboration since inception. WeWork offices have been home to new ideas and companies formed, as well as critical initiatives carried out during challenging times.
