HALLOWEEN revellers donned their scariest outfits as they hit pubs and clubs tonight on the spookiest weekend of the year.
Thousands of party goers headed out on the town in full fancy dress to mark the occasion.

The streets of Wigan were particularly busy with boozers dressed as dark angels, devils and bloodied nurses.
One reveller even chose to go full 90s when he donned Jim Carrey’s famous fantasy character The Mask.
This weekend Brits have been treated to temperatures hotter than Croatia and it seems to have encouraged many to strip down and dress up.
One man made the decision to fishnets accompanied by a skeleton themed leotard while another group teamed up as slain brides.

In Newcastle, meanwhile, some amazingly creative costumes were on show.
Some pals decided they would all dress up as huge orange traffic cones for the night, while another group opted for grass skirts with matching garland wreaths.
Leeds and Nottingham were also packed with people in weird and wonderful dresses as witches, wizards and ghouls descended onto our high streets.
Two brave university students even made the bold choice of wearing bright-coloured speedos and shoulder bags – proving that temperature was not an issue.

The joyous scenes across the country tonight were in stark contrast to those in South Korea where weekend Halloween celebrations have ended in tragedy.
Reports suggest that at least 149 people are dead and another 150 hurt when revellers funnelled up a narrow street in in Seoul.
Rescuers were filmed trying to pull people trapped underneath dead bodies as field hospitals were thrown up to deal with hundreds of casualties.
Survivors were also seen strewn across the pavement wrapped in foil blankets to stay warm following the crush in Itaewon on Saturday night.
Amid the horror one man was filmed climbing up a wall to escape the surge as 100,000 revellers celebrating Halloween panicked.
The horror unfolded on a narrow downhill alley after a throng of partygoers flooded into it, the Yonhap News Agency said.
“As people in the front fell over, those in the back were crushed,” a witness in his 20s told the news agency.
More than 800 emergency workers from across the country rushed to the scene close to the Hamilton Hotel.
One witness described the number of bodies piling up as looking like a “tomb”.
Police said scores were being given CPR on the streets while many others were taken to nearby hospitals.
Authorities in Seoul say dozens of people collapsed and went into cardiac arrest after being crushed by the huge crowd.
It came as there were claims an unidentified celebrity was at a nearby bar.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak reacted in horror to the crush, saying: “Horrific news from Seoul tonight.

While French President Emmanuel Macron offered his “heartfelt thoughts” adding: “France is by your side.”
