In these unfortunately nervous times, South Korean authorities apparently erred twice recently. One might have hoped, following a confirmed “buzzing” of it air defenses the day after Christmas, the public could somehow have been better prepared for an intended military test rocket launch this past Friday. For a country even more immediately concerned with “unidentified aerial phenomena,” Mick West offers UFOs Over Kyiv. Here Mick proves a “Cosmics” and Phantoms” UFO explanation in a paper by three Ukrainian astronomers “won’t fly”; mentions the “pseudo-scientific” (and worse) label the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine attached to that paper; and takes issue with PhD Avi Loeb’s continuing “artillery shell” hypothesis. West also rather argues–with some justification–that scientific arguments should not be judged solely by how many PhDs are ranged upon its respective sides. This all gets very personal in Mass UFO Sighting in Greece. A still-unexplained March 10, 2022, experience and its sequelae have apparently indelibly affected a number of Greek country people in this powerful account. (WM)
