MILLIONS of tea lovers do not know where their favourite brew comes from, a poll shows.
Almost a quarter (23 per cent) think it is grown here — although most tea drunk in the UK is from Kenya.

A third (32 per cent) do not know tea comes from the plant’s leaves.
Some 42 per cent sip a cuppa to destress and 24 per cent to help manage weight, the Tea Advisory Panel’s poll shows.
The survey of 1,047 adults reviewed by the Tea Advisory Panel – TAP is part of a new health campaign called ‘Take 5’.
The panel’s Tim Bond joked: “Many of us could do with a tea-torial.”

Dietitian, Dr Carrie Ruxton, from TAP, said: “We are bombarded with diet and exercise information, so it’s no wonder just people switch off.
“Yet, having just emerged from the worst of the pandemic, there’s an urgent need for everyone to get fitter and healthier.
