It seems that if we’re not shooting UFOs out of the sky, then we’re finding them washed ashore—that is, Unidentified Floating Objects. Or perhaps you prefer the more modern term UAP—that is, Unidentified Aquatic Phenomena. Point is, we might not want to send the littles out for a shell gathering adventure lately. Running shoes filled with the decaying remains of the feet they once shod have been washing ashore on the Pacific Coast for years now. The reason is neither diabolical but it is sad.
