Startup news site, TechRound, is delighted to announce the launch of a new Youtube series called The Elevator Pitch, in collaboration with WeWork, a leading, global, flexible workspace provider.
The Elevator Pitch is a famous concept and has often been used in business schools to get students to present their ideas. Typically, students would have to pitch their business idea in 30 seconds – as if they stumbled into an elevator with a powerful CEO or investor that they were eager to impress and get on board with.
TechRound is delighted to bring The Elevator Pitch to life, partnering with WeWork to give the series a home.
Six exciting startup founders were filmed earlier this year at WeWork Aviation House, right by Holborn underground station in London’s Covent Garden.
Three of the participants are members of WeWork Growth Campus, a £15 million initiative launched in 2021, offering its members subsidised workspace and access to its broad member networking – supporting opportunities to grow their business with the aim of boosting the UK’s entrepreneurial ecosystem after the disruption of the last 2+ years.

Participants include Josh White, co-founder of CANO Water and Forbes 30 under 30 laureate, and Rob Brockington, the CEO of financial coaching app Claro Money.
The Elevator Pitch interviews are conducted by TechRound co-founder, Daniel Tannenbaum, who commented:
“This is an exciting initiative. The elevator pitch is an iconic business presentation technique and we are delighted to be the first company to offer it in a formal series.”
“Partnering with WeWork and members of their Growth Campus initiative is fantastic. Through our upcoming videos, we are going to be learning some incredible things about these startups, particularly those in tech and sustainability, how their ideas came about, their challenges and plans for growth.”
Mathieu Proust, General Manager, WeWork UK, Ireland & Emerging Markets, said: “It’s great to learn more about these inspiring startups, including members of our own WeWork Growth Campus initiative. Challenging times often spark innovative business ideas and solutions, and we’re pleased to have supported many entrepreneurs as they scaled up their companies with our flexible workspaces and member network.”
