Perhaps yet another “alphabet-soup” DoD UFO/UAP task force has been prised away from secrecy. John Greenewald found something in two 2020 US Strategic Command (USSTRATCOM) formerly Top-Secret reports mentioning an “Unidentified Aerial Phenomenology (UAP) Joint Inter-agency Task Force (JIATF).” But Pentagon spokesperson Susan Gough has apparently come out of her recent “seclusion” to deny such ever existed. John advances his rationale for disbelieving Gough’s explanation. Greenewald’s points and decades of experience and, frankly, the history—recent and further removed in time—of Pentagon communications on these matters make John’s piece worth pondering. And perhaps Chris Mellon Gives Epic Disclosure Update offers some answers to why the “October 31st” ODNI/DoD report to Congress has been so much delayed. The “Disclosure” emphasis and some histrionics aside, Mellon’s quoted statements and their analysis offer food for thought. Note that the “whistleblower” language in the 2023 NDAA final version seems to have been somewhat muted since Mellon’s remarks. (WM)
