Iron is an extremely important mineral, as your body needs it to produce red blood cells and carry oxygen. When your diet lacks iron, it causes anaemia, dizziness, irritability, headaches, and fatigue. On average, you need to consume 18 mg of it every day, but the requirement varies depending on your age and gender. For […]

Death To Linears | Iron Banter: This Week in Destiny 2
Just about every week brings something new to Destiny 2, whether it’s story beats, new activities, or interesting new combinations of elements that let players devastate each other in the Crucible. Iron Banter is our weekly look at what’s going on in the world of Destiny and a rundown of what’s drawing our attention across the solar system.
I was playing a legendary PsiOp mission on the EDZ with GameSpot’s own Jean-Luc Seipke earlier this week, and I spent a good deal of time just blankly staring at DIM (the third-party Destiny Item Manager) trying to figure out what would give me the easiest time. We were planning on going into the activity without a third guardian, and since the activity isn’t matchmade, it can get pretty dicey. That being said, it’s not that I had difficulty deciding what I wanted in my overall loadout, but the Power weapon slot was bothering me. Legendary seasonal activities aren’t necessarily hard, but they can be challenging if you don’t go into them with a somewhat decent kit. Unfortunately, Destiny has suffered at times when it stifles creativity–where the meta basically amounts to, “use this weapon, or you’re stupid.”
In this case, it’s Heavy linear fusion rifles. They have dominated the PvE space for what feels like an eternity now, especially with the introduction of the burst-fire versions such as Stormchaser or Fire and Forget. Countless beefy yellow bar enemies, raid bosses, and other baddies have been on the receiving end of these overpowered weapons. If you were lucky enough to have one with damage-boosting perks, a Veist Stinger Origin trait, Enhanced craftable mods, or an Adept Big Ones perk (hello, Reed’s Regret), it was a no-brainer. You used a linear (and Arbalest) if you were serious, and if you didn’t…well, let’s just say your clanmates probably had the higher DPS numbers.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Warlock | Iron Banter: This Week In Destiny 2

Phil Hornshaw, a good friend and fellow clanmate of mine, lit the braziers of GameSpot’s Iron Banter for some time before moving on to the next chapter of his journey. For those who might not know, this is uncharted territory for me as I spend most of my time on the video side of things. So to say that I’m nervous about grabbing the baton for Iron Banter is a massive understatement. Although I would be lying if I didn’t say that I’m very excited because now I get to be your liaison in the Tower, talking shop and Destiny 2.
Bungie’s world has consumed me and my time in video games for years. I have seen every color and shade that these games have adopted and have forgotten countless eras of what the game used to be. From my first Exotic drop ever (Patience and Time) to my first busted Crucible meta (Thorn and The Last Word), I have lived through Destiny’s extreme lows and manic highs and saw Destiny 2 stumble and recover its footing in eerily similar fashion.
Fire Emblem Engage – How To Get Gold, Iron, Steel, And Silver
In Fire Emblem Engage you must lead an army as the Divine Dragon to defeat the mysterious and evil Fell Dragon. In order to accomplish this goal, you’re going to need to equip your units with the best possible weapons, which means you’re going to need to upgrade them. In order to upgrade them you will need an abundance of four things, Iron, Steel, Silver, and Gold. Here’s the best way to get more of each of these resources.
Money, money, money
Gold serves as the currency in Fire Emblem Engage and you are going to find yourself lacking it most of the time. There are a few points in the game, specifically once you complete a mission at each nation’s capital building, where the game gives you a large influx of cash, but that seems to be given to you so you can level up your Nation Donation levels, which are necessary for obtaining the other crafting materials you need.

‘OWLMAN’ WINGED HUMANOID Encounter in Iron Ridge, Michigan
An Iron Ridge, Michigan resident describes an encounter with a winged humanoid ‘Owlman’ observed in the late 1990s. It was seen again a few weeks later.
The following report was provided by Phantoms & Monsters Fortean Research team investigator Manuel Navarette and posted at UFO Clearinghouse:
This witness commented on a social media post regarding the recent O’Hare winged humanoid sighting and the investigator reached out to discuss her sighting from 1997-1998. This is the witness’ report of the events of her sighting:
“It was grayish/white and it happened in Iron River, Michigan (Mineral Hills) where I was born and raised. Also, there was talk of alien abduction in the 70s-80s where I am not discounting this has happened to myself or my family.
It was like 11pm or midnight in 1997 or 1998 and it was not a large owl, it was FAR bigger. We were about to drive down a hill and there it was out of nowhere like it “swooped” down in front of the car. I want to say from one wing to the end of the next likely 8-10 feet wide. We both screamed and it flew into the darkness to our old mining grounds.
It’s almost like it came from behind us and then swooped in front of our vehicle. All I can say is that it seemed whitish gray and I’m not sure about the legs or feet. All I know is it was like a human-like body, and then a humongous wingspan. Far larger than an owl. It is just like if my husband who is 6 foot 1 would be flying and have a huge wingspan.”
When asked by the investigator if she had previously had any encounters, the witness stated that she had not. The witness then stated that a friend of hers had reminded her that they had another encounter approximately 2 weeks after the initial encounter.
“My friend reminded me there was a second time within weeks of that first encounter.
It was flying above our old village hall (again late at night) and immediately flew out of sight. We were almost at her house and she screamed saying, “There it is again!”
[The entity] Then flew off
Both were very fast encounters we never investigated further.”
The witness stated that there were no other encounters since then and the interview was concluded. I thanked the witness and encouraged her to reach out if she had any other details to add. If any other details arise, I will update and publish them on the website as well as forward the information to the members of the Phantoms and Monsters Fortean Research team. Manuel Navarette
