Because while some acts see excitement wane with each release, the superstar’s trajectory is delivering quite the opposite.
Particularly on the streaming scene, where the 32-year-old is breaking records with her tenth studio effort.

The set, which was executive produced by Swift and Jack Antonoff, has smashed the record for the most streamed album in a single day in Spotify history.
Trumpeting the news, the global streaming leader wrote:

While over on Apple Music (which, with its heavy weighting, is a vital factor on deciding the US charts), ‘Midnights’ broke the record for biggest first-day streams for a Pop album:
Ever the savvy marketeer, Swift released a standard 13-track edition of the LP and followed with a special “3am Edition” featuring 7 additional tracks (making 20 songs in total) on streaming platforms.

Suffice to say, Miss Swift is off to a turbo-charged start with what is shaping up to be the year’s biggest-selling album launch out of the gate.
