Norio Hayakawa is not an overwhelmingly familiar name in ufology. But he certainly owns a place in its history, and perhaps in that of the general proliferation of conspiracy thought. Hayakawa seems a much softer human than many who trade in such themes. Miguel (“Red Pill Junkie”) Romero’s appreciation and the included biographical video depict a charming and highly talented individual who enjoys life. Differences in the “official line” and remarks attributed to an anonymous “serving United States Air Force (USAF) official” are highlighted in US Air Force Admits Failure! America’s ‘Best Fighters’ Get Their Radars Jammed, Missiles Blocked While Chasing An Intruder. Eurasian News’ Parth Satam references an article in The Sun. Micah Hanks discusses perhaps an egregious case of “information management” in Incident at Kecksburg: A Cold War Coverup? Hanks considers “Was there really an object recovered, and why did NASA lose its files on its investigation?” Whatever the final answers, elements of the case’s “explanation history” certainly fueled conspiratorial speculation. Hanks also remarks the recent “discovery” of a UFO image thought only held by the UK Ministry of Defence. And here he notes a “conspiratorial” theory that the US Government keeps the UFO theme going to hide its own super-advanced stuff. (WM)
