Many interesting “takes” on what the “February Shootdown Flurry” portends. Maybe Harry Kazianis isn’t a ufologist, but he makes a lot of sense here. Well, It’s a Dangerous Time to Be a UFO … and Maybe an Extraterrestrial Too. Paul Seaburn questions what’s behind the recent “trigger pulling” and examines some past military encounters with unidentifieds. Expert national security analyst Juliette Kayyem has The Simple Explanation for All These Flying Objects. Kayyem plausibly distills the confusion into its basics. Brandon Specktor also tackles the question of Why Are We Seeing So Many UFOs over America All of a Sudden? Specktor adds details to Kayyem’s presentation, and closes with Jack Weinstein’s pointed observation. Looking ahead, Robert Bartholomew quasi-predicts Why the Chinese Spy Scare Could Trigger a Rash of UFO Reports. And if plausibly Starlink launches-related sightings data are removed from pandemic sighting reports tallies, there seems no statistically-sound basis for saying human anxiety increases overall UFO reporting. Putting sighting totals aside, Is This the New Golden Era of UFOs? Peter Franklin says “My view is that we should treat UFO scares seriously if not literally,” citing drone technology as one reason.
