As Game of Thrones prequel series House of Dragon Season 2 enters pre-production, the cast, crew, and author George R.R. Martin reunited in Los Angeles for a screening, also sharing a few details about what’s likely ahead for the show. The Hollywood Reporter was first to report.
The biggest detail that showrunner Ryan Condal announced is that viewers will meet five new dragons in the upcoming season, which is set to start filming in 2023.
Martin spoke highly of Condal’s adaptation of his novel “Fire & Blood,” which serves as the basis for the show, saying that the writers had done a “marvelous job” filling in the material that wasn’t covered in the outline.
